when I realized
my eye
is just a hole
in the blue
airy sky
and we
are just
masks
and light

you don’t
really
notice it
but the blue
of the sky
comes down
some days
very low
at least
as low
as your knees
but you just
don’t notice this
because

your eyes
are dumb
